Dr. Etcheverry
Dr. Etcheverry is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is dedicated to furthering his education in order to continue providing the highest standard of care. He received his degree from the Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his post-graduate at Miami Children's Hospital. He received recognition for providing primary care in the Grand Valley for 20 years at Community Hospital and 25 years at St. Mary's Hospital. Dr. Etcheverry is the founder of Dino-Peds established in 1992.

Dr. Mercer
Dr. Tara Mercer completed her medical degree at Louisiana State University, Shreveport in 1997. She is passionate about providing excellent care for babies, children, and teens. Dr. Tara was a practicing Registered Nurse for several years prior to attending medical school, and has worked in health care since 1985. As a mother of 4, and grandmother of 3, she feels that pediatric care encompasses more than just addressing a physical illness. Dr. Tara believes that
the whole child matters. She moved to the Grand Valley in 2019, and is excited to be a part of Dino-Peds.

Meet Melinda Bon, Family Nurse Practitioner! With more than 25 years of nursing experience across multiple specialties, and the past five years dedicated to pediatrics, she brings both extensive knowledge and a warm, approachable style of care to every visit. Melinda is passionate about helping children grow up happy and healthy while building strong, trusting relationships with families. She earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from Walden University.
Outside of the office, Melinda enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with their beloved fur babies, and volunteering at her church.
Melinda looks forward to caring for patients of all ages at Dino Peds.
